Closer To Me

‭Hebrews 10:35-36 NIrV

“So don’t throw away your bold faith. It will bring you rich rewards. You need to be faithful. Then you will do what God wants. You will receive what he has promised.”

I’ve always been called a dreamer.

I used to wear the badge proudly too!

Even though I knew my ideas were always a little bigger than those around me, my imagination a little wilder, my sight unseen by many, I always had this feeling deep down that the impossible was POSSIBLE!

But then I started listening more to people when they told me, “Come back down to earth.”

They’d say, “Are you crazy? That will never happen?”

Or they’d simply repeat, “I can’t see it.”

And the more I listened to people and tried to fit into what THEY could see and what THEY could believe, the more my capacity for faith died.

I threw it away…my bold faith.

The one thing that set me apart.

The one thing that allowed me vision and insight of the unknown.

The one thing that ignited my natural existence when everything I could see and touch and understand provided no flame…no forward movement.

The one thing that renewed my mind daily and allowed me to be transformed and non-conforming.

Well, I’m taking it back!

I NEED it!

Those who are connected to me NEED it!

Even if they can’t see it, I CAN!

Even if they can’t believe it, I CAN!

Only when I take it back will I know what God’s will is for me.

Only when I take back my faith will I receive what God has promised to me.

Don’t Throw It Away.
